Not only were the cabinets redone, the archway was created to open the space between two rooms.
We added an energy efficient light fixture in the center and put in a larger window to brighten the room up.
Utilizing corner space

New appliances were added. A trash compactor to save trips to the dump, a refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom to save electricity and a dishwasher with a no heat dry.
When remodeling this kitchen we put piano hinges on the corner cabinets so that the cabinet opens fully and no space is lost. We also replaced all the knobs with pulls which can be opened with one finger.
